We ended our Narrative Writing unit with a celebration of personal narratives. Students read teasers aloud and then, in small groups, read their whole piece aloud. There were copies for guests to read, both of the narratives that were read aloud and of other pieces the students had written.

Thank you to the students for courageously reading their work aloud. This was a daunting task because personal narrative is by its nature… personal. Thank you to our guests who cam to listen and read. The feedback you gave was positive and affirming. The students were deservedly proud of their efforts.
